Congratulations to all CLJC players who attended Crystal Palace at the London Youth Games Feeder Event on 19th May 2012.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday technical and Randori sessions at Cardinal Pole Lower School at 7.30pm-9.00pm.

Over 20 children and adults came together to Capital London Judo Club, at Cardinal Pole School in Hackney on 21st of March to contribute to a successful kyu grading.
Gabor Szanyi Nagy CLJC head coach and Examiner said; " I think it was a fantastic evening together. Children and adults made a unforgettable evening to each other on the tatami. _The first grading took place last night for the Adult beginners at Capital London JC at Cardinal Pole in Hackney East London
Each Candidate ran through a sequence of the 6th Kyu red belt syllabus in pairs, which including A Ukemi drill – showing breakfalls from all directions. All Techniques were demonstrated on both Left and right sides, including transition into hold downs and escapes – This was shown in a fluid Kata style showing traditional etiquette. More.... Gabor Szanyi Nagy and Justin Goh delivered a popular session with the Arsenal Community Coaches to enhance their own coaching sessions with judo this afternoon. The session runs every year (for the past three years) as part of the coaches’ course programme and is aimed at showing football coaches how judo can be applied as a cross training exercise to their own sport.
